Bridgespan member – Mobile

Mobile App for a smaller health insurance company –

Bridgespan was hoping to attract a technology focused member so they wanted a member site that was a downloadable app. The app had to have a member communication section, insurance information, benefit details, claims data and account information.

For this project the business requirements were pretty firm, so I did some minor research on mobile competitors and some market analysis on common macro interactions. My next step was to work with existing personas and branding to create some user flows, wireframes and then some prototypes and designs. I collaborated with the usual teams (content, design, business, marketing and development) every step of the way.

The sign out button was placed in the upper right corner, because business owners were extremely concerned about personal health information and all of the laws that encompass that. So after lengthy discussions, sign out was considered action item one. Also, it seemed like the menu button down by the thumb or action finger was a better location for this app.
